The Girl Next Door (2)

The second time they’ve met was in the next day when Chuck was going to his guitar lessons Sunday morning.

- Come on – she said amused – you can’t still be mad at me.

- I can’t? – he asked, without stop walking to his car which she had left in the front of his house with the keys in a envelop  – I don’t have any reasons, do I?

She stopped walking. The fence made of bushes of her house didn’t let her.

-         Oh, please. You deserved it – she answer it – I could had been naked and you wouldn’t stop looking.

-         I said I was sorry.

-         Sorry was not enough – she replied, smiling.

-         What ever. I have to go, my teacher is waiting – he was getting in the car.

-         School? Sunday? Oh, God, you’re life is a hell – she joked.

-         Guitar classes, not school – he reformulated.

-         A musician? – she was surprised and amused – oh, really?

He ignore her, started the car.

-         Do you have classes in a school or particular classes? – she yelled so that he would hear her.

-         What does that matter?

She had got out her garden and she was getting closer. Sharon stopped in front of the door of the car which he had left open.

-         I play the violin back in Dundalk – she inform – do you know any teacher here?

-         Violin? – Chuck laughed – you?

Sharon was know not amused and a little offended.

-         Yes, why?

-         Don’t get me wrong – he said quickly – violin is great, but you don’t seem like a violinist. They’re shy, sweat, delicate…

-         And I’m not? – she asked.

-         Shy? No way – Chuck shook is head – sweat… delicate… I don’t know.

-         Well, despite my being you will discover I’m a great violinist. I come from a family of musicians – she said, proudly.

-         You do? Look, I really have to go. Can we continue this latter? – he asked.

-         Sure. I’ll be happy to make you eat your words when you see me playing.

-         O.k. – Chuck closed the door of his car, and started it.

- Hey, you still didn’t answer me about the violin teacher! – she yelled but he was already to far.

The Girl Next Door (1)

Sharon Corr was a beautiful and talented girl. She deserved the perfect man, thats for sure. He wasnt perfect. Not at all, he was shy and he wasnt funny. Why, then, did Sharon seemed to like him? He didnt know and he was sure nobody did too.

The first time he saw her, well, the first time he saw her was when her family moved in next door. She was in her garden, next to his, trying to take her mobile phone from one of her younger sisters. She was beautiful, he noticed.

His bedrooms window had a great view to her room. That was how Sharon first saw him. He was at his room, doing homework or trying, and he, suddenly, saw, from the corner of his eye, Sharon. She hadnt noticed him so she was taking off her black top. He wanted to away but something about her made him keep looking, without even trying to look like he was not. The black top was of, and her jeans were almost too when she noticed him. She, immediately, closed the window. Five minutes latter she was ringing at his door. He decided pretend he was not there until the idea of one of is parents go open the door invaded his mind. He run downstairs, but it was too late. His father opened the door to Sharon. He could hear her and him speaking, but he could not identify what were they saying. Chuck! his dead yelled come here!. He had no choice. Sharon was waiting for him downstairs with a strange expression on her face.

Chuck, this is Sharon Corr he started she just told me something very interesting.

oh, oh.

You know mrs. Hubbard next door? Well, she sold her house to

Sharons family.

Chuck wasnt sure what was going on. Sharon didnt told him that he was spying her?

        Oh he replied, still confused.

Anyway, Sharon just came from Dundalk, why dont you show her around?

        Me?

Who else? asked his father, hypothetically.

Lets go? Sharon asked, looking straight to Chuck. I have to be home by eight.

She was already getting out do he followed her.

Is that your car? she asked pointing at the nice volgswagen beetle convertible on the front of his house.

He nodded.

Nice she said I wish I had one car for my own too. I dont see that coming, though, I have a older brother, Jim, and doesnt have one too.

Chuck didnt replied as he was getting in the car.

What was your name again? she asked, looking at him.

        Chuck.

        Chuck she repeated.

He drove the car through the streets of Dublin. It was about seven and a half when it started getting dark and he decided to take her home.

They were at one long street with houses from both sides when she said Stop.

        What? Sorry?

Stop the car. Now her voice was demanding.

He stopped the car, confused.

-        Sharon, what

-        Did you like what you saw? she asked, turning in her seat to him.

-        What

-        Come on, Chuck.

-        I dont know what are you

Sharon smiled sceptically and cynically.

-        Ok, I saw you for, like, an instant he admitted, giving up.

She smiled strangely.

-        An instant, uh?

-        Yeah, it was not it was no big deal.

She emitted an offended gasp.

-        I mean he reformulated I didnt saw much, I Im sorry, I didnt meant to - he gasped Im sorry.

For his surprise, she smiled.

-        So, what are we going to do about this? she seemed entertained with all that.

-        Uh? he didnt know what to say I said I was sorry.

She smiled harder and looked around the street. She was insinuating something.

-        What? he asked.

-        Well, you saw me. she explained.

He looked around the neighbourhood too.

-Yeah, like I was going to strip right here he laughed, but alone. She was now looking serious. He noticed no. No way. Never going to happen.

He founded out, latter, that Sharon was a very persuasive girl.

5 minutes latter he was in front of the car with only boxers.

Sharon turned up the lights directly to him.

-        O.k. he yelled happy?

She laughed yep, turned on the car and left him.

-        Hey?! he yelled what the hell come here! Wait! No

He was now alone in the street without any clothe.

This was the first time they were together.
